Energy In An Ecosystem

In the Tropical Rainforest the organisms survive with Sunlight & Water. Energy moves in & out of the Ecosystem by theorganisms place of being. In other words where the organisms is located.

Food Web

A Food Web is a model that shows the complex of feeding relationships & the flow of energy within & sometime beyond an ecosystem. In other words a Food Web is a model that shows feeding relationships & flow of energy within an Ecosystem.

Pyramid Model

There are 4 main levels in the pyramid. The levels of the Trophic Pyramid are Primary,Secondary & Tertiary Consumers,& at last is the Detritivores. In the primary level the producers in the Tropical Rainforest include:Cyanobacteria,Algae,& all types of green plants starting from the small Herbs to the tall,broad-leaved evergreen trees. In the Secondary & Tertiary Consumers occupy the 3rd & 4th trophic levels.Secondary Consumers of the Tropical Rainforest include:Frog,Toads,Sparrow,& Woodpeckers.Tertiary Consumers are Carnivores that feed on the Secondary Consumers,&include:Hawks,Jackals,Leopards,Lions,Tigers etc.Detritivores is the last level in the Trophic level.Detritivores feed on dead & decayed plants &animals.Detritivores include:Fungi, & Microorganisms such as Bacteria & Virus.

Primary Producer (Green Vegetation)->Primary Consumer (Squirrel)->Secondary Consumer (Weasel)->Tertiary Consumer (Jaguar)->Detritivores (Fungi)

The Majority of the energy used by the organisms help them to live without any type of energy all organisms would die.
A Trophic Pyramid is the level of Nourishment in a food chain.A Biomass is  a measure of the total dry mass  of Organisms in a given area.It represents the measurement  of the dry mass.

Pyramid of Numbers

A Pyramid of Numbers shows the numbers of individual Organisms at each Trophic Level in an Ecosystem. It represents the number of each organism in each level of the Trophic.
